Sam Tripoli is a podcaster from Los Angeles. He grew up in Cortland, New York, and moved to Las Vegas after high school to attend UNLV. It was at UNLV that Tripoli earned the moniker "Big Juice". He was dubbed this after "welching" on a series of bets with his fraternity brothers. They christened him with the title, as a play on the Welches brand of juices. He graduated in 1997 with a degree in Psychology.
